Death by boiling is a method of execution in which a person is immersed in a boiling liquid such as water or oil.

In England, statute 22 passed in 1531 by Henry VIII, made boiling a legal form of capital punishment. It was used for poisoners, specifically enacted because one John Roose, who was the cook for the Bishop of Rochester, poisoned a number of people, resulting in two deaths. It was employed again in 1542 for a woman who used poison. The act was repealed in 1547.
....

In this scene Thomas More's cook is being executed, by this method, for poisoning the food of several attendants at Moore's home, thus killing them

  • This is the kind of punishment that our Muslim cousins are chomping at the bit to introduce into islamic emirates and eventually here, our excuse for this disgusting behaviour could be that we were a barbaric people and we've learned not to be savages, i wonder what their excuse could be ?

  • @Gasguy69

Nonsense, I've received countless comments and PM's from non-Muslims who want to bring torture back. Not to mention all the rednecks who support Guantanamo and the illegal actions by American soldiers on captives and civilians.

Sociopathy goes way deeper than religion

  • @ks0688 Oh, of course. For someone like you who has never had the distinct pleasure of being boiled alive, and has absolutely no idea what he's talking about, it's "not as bad one might think." Of course.

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn Muslims are more violent than anyone else. That's just a fact. Stop defending them.

  • @TheOnePistol Yes, anyway as far as know at that time excution was slow as condemned person has to suffer a lot before his dying breath.

Nowadays people is used to complain about modern times...

  • I would have done head first, it would be faster that way.

  • There is some weird shit on Youtube...

  • @NKismynextgoal Bruce Springsteen ha ha lol :)

  • @NKismynextgoal Yes, I know the story about the Tudors, I just never saw this particular film series before. No doubt I will put this one on my shopping list. Ty!

  • You're welcome. I believe there is a golden box out now with the 4 seasons on DVD for less than 100 euro/dollars. If you have a dvd-player, you should not doubt to buy this fantastic story. And so you avoid of taking cable because most of the time it's just like Bruce Springsteen once sang: "57 channels and nothing on" :-)-)

  • @NKismynextgoal Yes, I don't have cable but I know about The Tudors. Thanks for the info, comrade!

  • @TheZodiac586

It's a series called The Tudors (there are four seasons, a total of 38 episodes). I believe this is footage from the second season, where a man gets boiled because he tried to poison Thomas More and bishop Fisher. The man with the white hair (Thomas Boleyn) was the one who ordered him to do so, but if he betrayed him his family would suffer the consequences.

  • Could you please tell me the name of the movie?
