In response to statements released earlier today byan Israeli army spokeswoman claiming that "There were discussionsbetween the villagers and the army commanders and they decided to liftthe curfew," and that "The villagers promised not to protest and tokeep the village quiet" (Reuters 7/8/08), the Ni'lin Popular CommitteeAgainst the Apartheid Wall wants to clarify the following: The Popular Committee, who is representing the Ni'lin municipality,political parties, institutions and organizations in Ni'lin, has notbeen in any discussions with any Israeli army commanders and has notmade a promise to the Israeli army that there will be no moreprotests.

You are twisting the fact here. The Palestinians rejected themselves establishing an independent state (e.g., 1947, 2000, 2008).
Hence, the Palestinian problem is not a humanitarian one, rather a national problem: The goal of the Palestinians is the complete dismantling of Israel. They seek war. Not peace. This is evident through all their (short) history. (Read Hamas treaty for instance).

If Palestinians living in the West Bank are citizens of another country as Israeli politicians and apologist says, then why are Israeli's taking land from citizens of another country and building settlements.
