Orb-weaver Spider at work

This Orb-weaver spider lived right outside my apartment door. I caught him on camera one night spinning a new (and very large) web. Both him and his web were dispensed with the following day, however. Presumably by an ignorant neighbor.

i have the same thing outside my window and i love to watch it at night. it seems to only come out at night unless something gets stuck in its huge web. the one outside my window now is the largest of its kind that i have ever seen its huge!!!!!!!!

@asininegenius Sorry for the incorrect statement, but I know good, and well that is not a brown recluse. One of my friends was watchin all these spider videos, and decided to comment on one.

@gameplay0 Brown relcuse? Hahaha! No. A brown recluse is a terrestrial spider which do not use webs to catch prey. Why do people who don't know what they're talking about attempt to correct people who know exactly what they're looking at? I don't get it.
