Brooks Bass.
Built by myself, based on my favorite bass; the Gibson Les Paul Bass from 1969.
But with a few different features.
It has a mahogany set neck and mahogany body. The top is flamed maple.
The two front pickups are n.o.s. Gibson G3 see thru single coils. The bridge pickup is an Artec Mudbucker.
Bridge is a TH bridge from BaCH combined wth string thru body ferrules.
Tuners are big gear Gotoh Resolites.
This bass has only one volume pot. And a hidden tone pot that is accessible at the back through a small hole in the control cavity cover.

  • sounds good

  • Love this bass. I've got one of those Artec mudbuckers and have been wondering how to use it. Love it in the bridge position. As to the tone pot, why not use a stacked pot for volume / tone?

  • mooie sound.hij klinkt in alle bereiken goed.respect.

  • gaaf
