Barack Obama: Lie To Us, Please

While the Junior Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, was on a lovely trip to the State of Hawaii, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of the nation of Georgia.

While we don't fault Senator Obama for not halting his vacation because of some international incident and possible world war, we do expect to see much stronger language come out of his campaign.

But then again, maybe that's it. Maybe Senator Obama plans to use the same tactic that he plans on using against other enemies: Hope.

It certainly won't work, but surely it will make everyone feel nice.

this may sound like i'm being belittling, but it's a serious question. What does America have to gain by getting involved in this conflict? I mean, I'm a Marine, we love to do our job which is destroy the enemy, but I don't want my fellow Marines to die for a cause that doesn't benefit our nation. Why should America help, and I must have a tangible answer, simply "helping others in need" is not going to cut it.

For a while I found myself contemplating whether Georgia was "worth" a conflict with Russia.

While full-scale war is out of the question, there are other things we can do (such as send troops only to the Capital) to keep Georgia from being conquered. Georgia sent 2,000 of it's own men and women to Iraq to die for us. By % of their military, that is a vast amount.

They were willing to die for us. The most we're willing to do is send them some rice and asprin?

It's a tough call to make.

Once again Obama screws up by not knowing how to properly respond to this recent war like McCain did. this will only hurt Obama some more. Evry week there is something new that Obama does that he shoots himself in the foot.

Obama was caught unaware because, at least temporarily, he though Russia invaded the US STATE of Georgia and he was worried about the effect of the unrest on the black voting demographic in Georgia. When informed that it was Georgia the COUNTRY he, due to his communist upbringing, had momentary lapse and thought that Russia was still communist and got a warm,pleasant feeling in his heart. When finally told that Russia wasn't communist he declared himself against the Russia aggression.

The war in South Ossetia was started by the western influenced government of Georgia. If you make a video that makes the Georgians pose as vitims and Russians as agressor, you're buying all the lies, that lead to wars. othing can stop wars, when people keep buying the lies. Obamas advisors want war just as much as Bush and Cheney did. otherwise he'd stop the missile program in Poland immediatly.

Bush stayed longest, and Condi was on holiday as well.

Georgia attacked first.

Russia responded.

Russia got out. in less than a month.
