Call it constitution or not... EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso feels passionately about the need for a new treaty on the future of the EU. Excerpt from address to meeting between EU parliament and delegations from national parliaments. Brussels, June 2007
Yes the strong must support the weak, but we don't need more laws and we don't need uniform laws across Europe.
We don't need and we don't want the communist, centralistic bureaucracy.
Let the countries function themselves, don't suffocate the countries of Europe with all kinds of bullshit legislation
Don't destroy Europe.
No more bailouts, let the countries fail, otherwise the whole of Europe will fail. And you don't want to be know in history as the one who destroyed Europe..
One cannot blame Italy or Greece for failing the Euro, it is the Euro which is flawed. Germany and Italy do not belong in the same monetary union, because the mentality of the peoples are completely different, which cannot be changed in ten years time.
And again, we don't need more regulation from brussels, we don't want more laws from brussels. Europe is strong in it's differences.
This man is an EU bigot. He says he cannot understand why people oppose the Lisbon Treaty on democratic grounds. That is the problem. People like him never will understand people who get in the way of their European dream.
You are such fucking idiots with the "commie" remarks: he's a conservative, idiots! And Irish, why don't you just LEAVE EU, if you don't want to be there??
Heh. You're calling a guy who believes in the ultimate liberal principle of cooperation and free markets a "communist"? Talk about being completely ignorant. Pick up a political science book sometime.

No-one has ever said that EU has any alternative. The Lisbon Treaty does and you either admit it or you're not democratic.
