Why isn't this issue solved yet for Tibetans and Chinese? Chinese should just let Tibetans be free. Tibetans have their rights, so if this is the way that China will so-called figure things out, Tibetans will be more upset.

Not only Tibetans,all 55minorities and han majority entitled to religious freedom as long as they do not harm to other people for this issue.But obviously tibetans disobeyed the rule.Political freedom??As Chinese citizen tibetans should obey theri countries law.Remind u 2 thing,1st,no single country in the world allow brutalities 2nd,Tibet is part of China,they do not awarded any privileges beyond nantional law.

When journalists were allowed in tibet, we saw footage of tibetans smashing in windows and burning cars. then all media was kicked out. Then saw videos of trucks and trucks of chinese military heading over there. This is not propaganda, we are able to make up our own minds. Its tough isn't it when the han have moved in to tibet, with their families in mind. attacking them is not just, i am saying that the tibetans are entitled to political and religious freedom. I ask again, where are you from?

hey kola. there are different figures on the amount of tibetans in '62 2.5million even according to official govt. stats. this has become a question of who's information you believe; that of the chinese government or that of the free press.

Later census counts put the ethnic Tibetan population within the country at about two million. I hope you understand that the reason so many 'outsiders' are concerned with what China is doing to Tibet, is that Tibet was a peaceful, culture-rich region that China slaughtered for no good reason. Tibet had no need to be developed like China wanted. Chinas development is excellent- the whole world is investing there... but the whole world hates when China is mean to other people- that simple. all i say to you is check out all the reports, open your ears to all the news sources. question the media. also consider that china recently completed a fast train network opening tibet up to increased han settlement. the reason there aren't as high a proportion of tibetans in tibet is because they have been forced out and the chinese govt. have offered financial incentives to work in tibet.
