First, choose all-natural peanut butter. The only ingredient should be peanuts. Then, skim some of the oil off the top before mixing it up. That way you decrease the amount of omega-6 fats you're getting in your diet, and you increase the proportion of protein in the peanut butter, making it a healthier snack.
Thanks for the tip!

So, I will buy better P.B. and measure with a tablespoon.
I had one slice today for a total of 300 calories counting the bread! I will cut out 5,600 calories a week making this change!
Red the labels is the lesson for me. Also, I "thought" if it didn't say "trans fats" that is was okay.
Man, time to hit the gym.
peace,
Guy

I've been working out hard and not losing weight. Then I read the back of the skippy(sp?) peanut butter jar after watching this. To keep this short. I am eating a great breakfast, but I work from home, so for lunch I would quickly eat two slices of bread folded over with P. Butter. Yesterday after reading the jar, I now know I was eating 1,200 calories for lunch! I would LOAD it on and take a knife full before I put it on the bread and maybe one one knife full after putting it on the bread!!
