Muzzie, for a second there I almost got angry. Then I just felt sorry for you. You are one of the many insidious parasites all over YouTube, whose lives are so empty that you spend your days scouring for videos on which you can post nasty comments. Such loneliness, such anger. Here's a challenge - come and say it all to my face, and my family's faces. No? Didn't think so. As a compassionate human being, I wish you peace....you clearly have none right now.

This famine took place as a result of the armed resistance by the TPLF against dictator Mengistu. The world should know that the same TPLF & it's leader Melez Zenawi & Tigrinya tribes man are Collectively starving to death Millions of Ogadenians today & I mean as of todays date oct. 2009. in Ogaden. why U don't see it. media is not allowed to go in. genocide is widespread. region is rich in oil, ONLF is resisting the Ethiopian occupation army. Ogadens are punished for supporting the rebells.

Muzzie, I agree with Felorad. Clearly you are very angry and I'm sure there's some legitimate reason for that, but it seems like you may be taking it out on people who have never done anything to hurt you or even asked you for help. In any case, consider that the Western world (and in your conceptual framework the "white world") consumes exponentially more resources than the rest of the developing world. (part 1 of my comment)

Part 2: A standard dishwashing machine requires 4 times more of the planet's resources to run than the energy consumed by one Ethiopian. It is true that the population has exploded (largely due to the fact that families don't have education about alternatives or access to contraception), but even so, they are hardly using any of the planet's resources compared to us in the West. Some folks hogging all the food/oil/water, etc. while others, like Ethiopians, are left with very little.

Muzzy why do i see so much insult and anger in your argument? No one can discuss fairly when he is angry. So it is not about 'niggers' or about 'muds' - it is about you! Time to think about changing! This is my last word to you: every one deserves love - including you - and those who can love know that giving is more rewarding than receiving.

This has never been an issue of race, but you preferred to see it that way. You see what you want to see. Also no one said this is any one's responsibility. Only people with a kind heart that prefers to share instead of to hate do take it as their own responsibility. Ask a humanitarian worker why s/he does what s/he does. Do you expect they would answer saying it is 'responsbility of white race to save black race'? Muzzie, you can reason far better than that!

Imagine you were there - poor, uneducated, helpless and purely at the mercy of mother nature that brings the rains annually. You could as well be as black as you are white. When the rains disappear, you would starve just as they did... much of mankind's hisory has been like that until recently. The only difference is that this happens in a modern age, and got the chance to be reported.
