JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--From the Chamber of Commerce to the Landing the color of choice was teal. If you wore teal you could spin to win prizes at the Landing. Those who weren't wearing teal were shopping for it.

But despite the team spirit many fans, like Lori Johnson, are going to miss the home opener.

"I don't have that kind of money to put on a game. It's not just the ticket. It's the parking, vending, everything else. It adds up to a hundred dollar day for one person."

But she wanted to do what she could to show the big cats when the economy turns around she'll be back.

"It's a business. If it's going to profit it will stay here. It is doesn't it will leave. The cities that have had a team and lost it suffered. In Jacksonville we need this. We want it. We need it."

Tom Seward's son, Adam, is a player. And he says all this teal shows the team the city appreciates their hard work.

"These guys are getting beat up every day. It's a profession fans should appreciate."

I hate people saying how much it costs to go the game. I go to subway before the game. park for free off of a phillip randolf and pay 30 buck for a ticket. I dont buy anything at the game just watch the game. you dont have to spend anywhere close to 100 dollars
