I am sorry to see this add 'in English' ... I wish these places would be left alone, unknown to outsiders. I'm from the south of Brazil, lived in Ceara (1971-74) and I still miss that 'real life'. Now I'm here in the USA for 16 years ... longing.

Now, Fort is supposed to be a secret place known only to Brasilians who lived there for 3 years? First, this isn't an add. Or an ad either. Second, saudade isn't only ever a Brasilian thing. Feeling like you do, perhaps you should write a note to Embratur, the Brasilian tourista bureau, and ask them to stop asking outsiders to come to Fort. I'm sure they will listen to you...just like they always listened to me when I was promoting Ceara and Brasil in a big way.

I don't visit here often and I just saw this. This biz relationship is long dissolved. However, when it was in biz, I can promise you that we screened all of our customers. Not for this especially, but if the incoming agent would have ever had the slightest doubt of a client, they would not have been a client. We ran a family operation. I always told the clients that if they only learned one word of Port, it should be "Obrigado."

The city of Fortaleza and the State of Ceara are one of the best destinations in the world for travelers. It's very difficult to find other places in the world with so many stunning natural landscapes so close to a big and cosmopolitan city like Fortaleza. The combination of the amazing natural scenery with the proximity to the vibrant urban life of Fortaleza makes the coast of the State of Ceara a very unique place in the world.

I Would love to go to Brazil but Panama and Costa Rica are closer. Some day I am going to go to the Deep Amazon and end up in Venezuala or Equador, Hopefully.
