Hope you saved the feet to cook. And its nice to see home grown chickens which unlike store bought one arent genetically altered but are allowed to be smaller in size and much better tasting. You can also branch the comb, peel and saute and eat. We like them in homemade pasta with mushrooms.

so you wear gloves every time you handle raw chicken?doubtful, if your careful not to hit the bile bag or intestine you wont have any problem!
-
because there is a disease called salmonella you don't want to spread around and yes wash your hands even after you use gloves!!! It's not at all about being a pussy! It's called preventing Death!!!
-
why do you need gloves just wash your hands dont be a pussy!!!

things like the lungs are attached to the ribs so you do need to cut some stuff out. As a rule though, cut it as little as possible because then you run less of a risk of leaving stuff in there

Your dog seems pretty keen on it all! He keeps going under the table. Dogs like the organs - they aren't picky like us, they're used to being wolves in the wild laying their teeth into a big fresh carcass.
so it's just a matter of pulling it all out? no cutting needed? hmm well off I go to kill that son of a roster that killed my favorite roster. I have six rosters so I need to take some out for dinner so, yeah.

You do need to cut off the anal gland, and around the vent, when the intestines come out.

Theres barely any meat on those birds. What do they eat??

Those birds were about 2 years old, and they were EE's..so not very big. They were eating just normal layer pellets..but if we are raising them for meat, they eat a food with a much higher protien percentage, around 26-28%.

Some people like to eat them.
