@loger00 the answer to that is no because james is the god of downstroke.i read somewhere that he can downstroke close to 250 beats per minute not sure if its even possible but i wouldn't doubt it

in a way putting a capo there is quite smart, sometimes playing the first fret can be a bit of a strain, if you're not properly warmed up
