It rained pretty bad on saturday 4-18-09 and instead of being stuck in traffic on Interstate 45 I decided to jump on the hardy toll road, well the exits off of the tollway were blocked by cops because the feeders were flooded. This is video of me in my 2008 toyota tundra and other trucks driving through the flooded feeder road.

note: this is the tundra recalled sticky pedal truck... All of my lights are on in my truck dashboard now,, traction control doesnt work, no abs or curtain airbags either.. i'll post a new video of the lights and stuff. The truck only has 30k miles so it is all under warranty I just have to take it in. Still I love my truck!!

  • Do floods like this occur often in Houston?

  • yeah it floods all the time,, if u have a truck u can get through most of it, u just have to watch someone else do it first :)

  • yeah the ford was lifted and his wasnt an 08 lol ,,,, get a lifted tundra 4x4 and put it up next to a ford, see what happens,,,, im in a 5,7 liter v8 with sport package(2wheeldrive)

  • How do u like your Tundra?? I also live in Texas and I was wondering if your tundra is having the same problems as the other tundras??

  • i love it and it runs like a champ, the only thing i dont like is the thin metal (dings easy) and paint(scratches easy).

  • @boobies1989 make ur truck reliable

  • @smokinjoe380 that truck wasnt lifted.

  • @clubtc05 -Yo My tundra runs great and ower winter coming upower 6 month off white hell, and yes this tundra is in Sweden Norden Europa, far from home and i hope it live up to my dream off US made Truck, 80% Us Nativebuild and parts, is bye far better than Doge and Ford Chk % and u be supprised...

-Pls giwe some reffrens on the trubbels off the tundras,,thx

  • @puremaplesyrup22 True that. When I need something I try to upgrade and buy from companies that make their parts in the U.S.

  • @boobies1989 80% of the tundra's parts are domestic... 55% for chevy and ford.. Not the other way around. When I break something on my Ford where do my parts get shipped from? Mexico..

  • @puremaplesyrup22 You look it up! Toyota ships in 80% of there parts. The tundra is made here but its not the only plant. Chevy only makes one suv over is mexico and canada. Everthin else is made here. Toyota is not a american company THEREFOR it is not american. Doesnt matter where its made.

  • @boobies1989 Look it up. F150s are made in Mexico, along with Chevy. Tundras are made in California, Indiana, Texas.... all in the U.S using american parts.. not Mexican parts.

  • @puremaplesyrup22 you are extremely wrong

  • @boobies1989 Tundras are made in America... and are the most american truck on the market.

  • stock f250 is the star

  • video title should be 92 f150 driving through flood waters...

  • i wish we had this much rain now. Houston is shriveling up

  • i see after driving through it the others just drove off, i would have been checking my breaks to dry them out first

  • a Troller T4 is much better

  • @sloanta It was an f-150 but still for being that old of a truck dude has some balls.

  • @boobies1989 LOL did you know your FORD is built in MEXICO and the TUNDRA is Built in USA sir i LOL @ U

  • Boobies1989 shut the fuck up

  • @boobies1989 and yes i do wash them at the dealership but that dont mean anything. i could build a fourwheeler so fast it would make your head spin but if i washed them for a living would that mean all my knowledge goes out the window? my grandpa prints papers and sit for a living but he could build a tractor from the ground up. your job does not define your knowledge on anything.

  • @boobies1989 im sure you know everything about me dont ou cuz you know me personaly right? i was not lieing about my toyotas and i guess there is no way to prove it and no my money isnt going toward japan because i ddnt buy it.yes my toyota is an old truck if you consider a 1994 4 runner old. not literally fall out. it grinds at 49mph and its not a truck is a v6 mustang. and we dont just hand japan money and say have a nice day. do you think american vehicles are sold only in america?

  • @boobies1989 stfu troll, I'd like to see u cross a deep river with a ford. At least Toyota's can make it through without hydrolocking the engine.

  • @OCTIMOUSPRIME If when the gas pedal sticks and your family dies. Wooohooo gotta love toyota. Stupid ass japs and your a fake ass american. Go to japan if you want to drive there trucks bitch.

  • @MrSweetleaf92 If you want your money to go to japan instead of america then so be it.. You obviously dont care much about your fellow americans or your country. Your girlfriends trans is about to fall out?? Get real. Transmissions usually dont last past 200,000 expsecially in trucks. I know your full of shit about your toyotas. They still need maintence. You obviously clean cars at a dealership. I am a tech at a dealer. Your not. Tundras suck. The only good toyota is the old trucks.

  • @boobies1989 so then its half american. either way who fuckin cares. just cuz its ford dont mean shit. my GF has a ford with 200k miles on it and the transmission is about to fall out. i work at a car dealership and every ford that we have had traded in has had some sort of problem. my 4 runner has 250k miles on it and the only thing i have done 2 it is replace the fuel pump because it sat for 2 years. my dads tundra has 200k miles on it and has nvr turned a wrench on it.

  • @TAZmAn552 i have had a 4 runner since i was 14 :)

  • @tayedrummer14 so shit?? stfu typical toyota pussy
