Bruce Arnold is a true musical genius. It is a great tragedy that his music went virtually unnoticed for so many years. Shame on the hypocritical and elitist counter-culture for dismissing Orpheus then and shame on the so-called 60's Pop "purists" for continuing the practice today. History will not be kind to these fools...you know who you are!

That's the legendary Colin Walcott on the tablas, sitar and tamboura.
One cannot listen to this song without being deeply moved. Yet another overlooked masterpiece by Bruce Arnold.

I grew up in the Boston Area and listened to Dick Summer who tried desperately to create a "Boston Sound" and get national attention. These guys were one of the best bands we had. I am ancient and thus have a nearly perfect LP of the first album. It has some marks on it because it was before the days of tape decks so we actually played our LPs more than once.
They were a great, great group and never got the recognition they deserved!

Two years ago, I purchased a four disc compilation from this band. I played this song for the first time and I was hooked. I just loved the use of sitars. The song is hypnotic.
