Brenda K. Pierson, age 62, of Manchester,
died December 29, 2008.
She was born November 16, 1946 in Wayne, MI, the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Harding) Cottingham.
Brenda was employed at Busch's, Clinton store. She attended Tecumseh Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Carl, 3 daughters, Diana (James) West, Carol (Henry) Douglas,
Amanda Pierson; brother, Robert Cottingham; sister, Peggy (Leon) Foster; and 6 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Elmer Cottingham, Jr.
Funeral Services will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday January 3, 2009, at Tecumseh Freewill Baptist Church,
with Pastor Gene Hurley officiating. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Thursday Jan. 1, 2009 and from 2-8 p.m. on Friday Jan. 2, 2009 at
J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan.
