満月をさがして: Eternal Snow, classical guitar w/ voice (Da Vynci ft Paws½)

This is the first video I made using Adobe After Effect, prior this video I used Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effect offers far more control, it allows you to manipulate every single pixel on the screen in anyway you could imagine, if you know how.

It took me some times to get familiar with After Effect. One of the things I found irritating about AE is its Previewing system. In Premiere Pro, preview is achieved by utilising hand disk cache, which typically allows a very sufficient preview length, in my case, preview an entire 3-4mins video has hardly been any problem. Nevertheless in After Effect, where preview is achieved by loading edited video files and effects into RAM, preview length rather limited (typically only 20 seconds in my case and I have 4Gb RAM!). Checking the video projects projected result in AE seems cumbersome and clumsy compare to APP.

The other thing I found difficult to get used to is how in AE each layer cannot contain more than one footage, whereas APP allows unlimited number of footage to be put in each track.

Apart from the aforementioned points, AE is a very powerful and sophisticated tool for video editing. There are so much yet to be discovered.
