  • Nice to see the shots of South Milwaukee BE plant again. I was a contractor there in the early 90s, still had crane operators then, but nice to see the old place. I did the Ultrasonic inspection on the 2570WS Arco Ursa Major machine. Was one BIG machine, people do not believe the true size when I tell them about it. BIG BIG BIG!!!! Was a great time working there with some of the best guys I ever had the chance to work with, Hi to all that were there then.

  • The flywheels arent even in the draglines, there in a power station to buffer the electricity volatage its like a massive capacater

  • A lot of the facts they tried to point out are incorrect, pretty annoying that they tried to make things so dramatic do enhance the show. Draglines have huge flywheels? 14 engines powering hydrualic rams for the shoes? Not for this smaller Bucyrus.
