  • @HerrQuixota I never said it wasn't different. That is my biggest gripe against martial arts these days: the true nature of the art has been discarded in favor of being safe and sporting and letting people feel good about themselves. The martial arts were originally that: an art for war, meaning they were rife with killing techniques. And strength is only as important as you allow it to be; I don't care who you are, you're not coming after me with a crushed windpipe or a fractured kneecap.

  • @ChishioAme

And somehow you believe that the kung fu used then is still the same today....puahaha. Remember how BodiDharma's teachings were lost? Not only that, you think attaining more strength isn't essential against bigger opponents.

    Go back to your seifu.

  • @HerrQuixota Size hardly matters if you break their trachea and leave them gasping for air. Oh, and this "garbage" as you call it, has been around for thousands of years. Unlike our lazy society of today, in the past, if something didn't work, it was disposed of; if kung fu (all styles) wasn't effective against all types of opponents in all numbers, would it have survived the hundreds of wars China went through to unify?

  • handig voor op het plein

  • sorry, but its impossible to learn kung fu through internet.

even if u manage to copy the movements, u need the guidance that only a master can give.

  • Yeah. It's sophistry.

It's seriously full of shit. Don't teach this garbage.

These are modern days. This shit is old. The people you fight nowadays are either stronger(other fighters) or come in greater numbers(gangs).

Most Chinese in the early days of Kung Fu, were physically weak. That made them easy to govern.

Size matters. Compound that into Skill and Discipline, and you have a Juggernaut.

  • Not a true tornado kick.

He needs to almost perform a 360

Not only that, the way this combo is executed is so impractical.

Tornado kicks are suppose to be either chained with another Tornado Kick, or linked to a Hurricane Punch then a Straight Cross, ALL IN A STRAIGHT LINE, CONTINUING THE SPIN.

You fight your way out of being surrounded. It's fucking stupid to fight any other way.

(I'm angry, because people are gonna get hurt by continuing to utilize false martial doctrine.)

  • Not tryin to get on ya or nothin man, just it's good to remember when you're doin this stuff.. It's not SUPPOSED to hit anybody..but hey, shit happens right?

  • i learned how to do the tornado kick today at my wushu class i didnt think it was northern style its pure not westernized :)

  • are there any places on the internet where ican learn kung fu for free?
