Jones and Chun recently worked together with SiFu Lee on Kwon Sau Bong Gerk coverage and combinations. Training back and forth in this manner allows them to hone their reflexes, timing, technique, distance, power, agility, etc.
To anyone interested in using the techniques in this clip...The drills are good but there's something you need to be aware of. Using the raised leg to block in this way could become a bad habit. A good fighter seeing you do that would throw a fake to make you execute that blocking technique then target your supporting leg. I learned that lesson the hard way 21 years ago. All the best for another great year of training in 2011 guys. Jasma98
Good drill, but they often start their round kicks from much too far away which gives an unrealistic sense of timing. You have much less time in sparring to get that check off than in this drill.
i like it! very nice!
