Very informative. Does the gel that come in some shoes like ones from Asics work the same way as these gel inserts that you talk about?

I'm not sure exactly what material they use in those shoes currently. I think it is a firmer gel composite for better stability now.

Thank you for the response. That would probably explain why I feel more comfortable with these kind of shoes as I have a pair made by Asics.

Thanx for posting. always great informative videos. Keep them coming Doc. I never found gel inserts comfy. As a matter of fact they would tend to make my feet hurt. I stillhave this strange popping sound behind the ankle which causes my ankle to hurt badly. I have to twist my ankle a bit til I hear a pop then the pain goes away almost immediately. I need to go get that checked out. Feels like a pinch or something.
