On our winter south in Japan, we did some WWOOF work on an organic farm in Ikumi on Shikoku island.

  • I am considering to WOOF in Japan, but it's just too damned expensive. Is it easy to avoid spending money if your WWOOFING?

  • @SUpersaiyajinjerkbag Well, Japan in general can be expensive, especially with traveling costs. While WWOOFing, you don't have many expenses. In terms of traveling, the bullet trains are the fastest, but there are local trains (the slowest but cheapest options) and highway express buses (about halfway in between local train and bullet train in terms of cost and time). Feel free to ask if you have any more questions...

  • Hi there! My partner and I are interested in doing something similar with a WWOOF farm next year. Hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions: was this your first WWOOFing experience? Do you speak Japanese? How did you decide on this particular farm?

    Thanks for the video!

  • looks likes an awesome time. thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I was wondering if I should WWOOF in Japan or somewhere cheaper. If you're smart and in a rural area; than even Japan isn't too bad. But the exchange rates are even worse now than they were 5 years ago so I guess no one should WWOOF in japan without at least 4k in savings

  • Looks like it was a great adventure!

    Wasn't it cold running barefoot??

I'd love to do some WWOOFing on my trip this year. Did you need experience to help him out, or is anyone welcome?
