BTW guys, I'm quite disappointed that there is no feedback to my story. If you guys hate it so much then let me know, I'll do a bit of a chapter party and then I'll end it.. Please let me know. I wont update next chapter if there isn't at least 5 comments.
Recap: The boys arrived at Getlin's place. They were having dinner and Nick started talking.
Nick: So EJ, what have you been up to? I mean, it's been 4 months since we last spoke. Done anything interesting?
Getlin: Haven't done anything interesting, the usual - school. That's it. *during talking doesn't raise her head and won't even look at him. after talking starts eating a bit.*
Nick: Well.. The food is really good, I didn't know you could cook.
Joe: Neither did I. And it is SOO delicious. Can I have more? Please *puppy dog face*
Kevin: Yeah, EJ, the food is amazing. Where did you learn to cook?
Everyone at the table looks at her as she stands up, takes Joe's plate and walks to the kitchen. After about 2 minutes she came out, plate FULL of food.
Getlin: Joe, I know you love to eat, but could you leave some room for dessert? It would be very polite of you. *says all this while putting Joe's plate in front of Joe*
Everyone looks at each other and they're all thinking the same thought : Wow. She actually can talk. Well, thats what the boys thought. Dave, who knows better, thinks : That's the longest thing I've heard her say in a long time. I knew the boys would make a difference.
Joe: Why thank you Ge- I mean EJ. And dessert will DEFINITELY fit in here. *says while patting his stomach.*
Getlin smiles a bit and nodes, then walks back to her seat. After a while everyone finishes and Getlin cleans up. In 5 minutes, the dessert was out. It was creme brule. Joe smiled the biggest smile and started eating a VERY large slice of it. Then the dessert was finished. Getlin cleaned everything up and walked to the kitchen to do the dishes. At the same time the boys and Dave were talking.
Nick: Since when does Getlin do dishes? And cook? She always ordered in. Well, most of the time she did. But she's such a good cook. Where did she learn it all?
Joe: It was weird having her quiet like that. She was always such a motormouth and now she says as little as possible. Really weird. And the food. Man, it was soo good. I wonder if there were any leftovers? *he started looking around for food.*
Kevin: No Joe, there were no leftover because you ate everything that WAS leftover. *Joe looks down and sits back into his place.* But Nick, you have to get her talking. As I recall, she has trusted you with everything? Am I right or am I right?
Nick: Yeah, you are. But it's easier said than done.
Dave: Tell me about it. But she's already changing. *the boys look at him confused* Well, when she talked to Joe, that was about the longest thing she's said in a long time.
The boys nodded. During their little conversation, Getlin heard everything because the dishes were done very easily. She listened to them for about 10 minutes and then walks out grabbing a notebook and a pen. Nobody noticed her disappearance until about half an hour later when Nick started worrying why she wouldn't join them. So he asked Dave.
Nick: I wonder where Getlin is. I mean, it's been like half an hour since she left and how long do you do the dishes?
Dave: Oh, don't worry. She finished up a while ago and then left for a couple of hours.
The boys looked at him, while he said it like it was nothing. Boys were furious.
Joe: What'd you mean by left for a couple of hours?
Dave: Getlin. Outside. 2-3 hours.
Nick: How can you say it like it's nothing?
Kevin: Yeah, what if something's wrong?
Dave: It's been going on for as long as we have lived here. She takes off after doing the dishes. And then comes back a few hours later like nothing happened. Once I tried to follow her, but I lost her. And she always comes back unharmed so I just let it go.
Nick: So, she won't be back for another couple of hours? That's very good.
Joe&Kevin: WHAT?
Nick: Ok, it's not VERY good, but it's still good. Dave, is it ok if I go to Getlin's room? Maybe I'll find something to help her open up?
Dave:...
What will Dave say? You know, 5 comments and next chapter will be out.
