Oaks Christian Rocketry—Team America Rocketry Challenge

The goal of the competition, the "Team America Rocketry Challenge," is to launch two raw eggs up 750' and return them 45 seconds later.

This is the video of our first launch: you can see we sent the eggs up to 696' and returned them to earth 48.0 seconds later.

The score of our rocket is calculated by adding twice the difference of the rocket's achieved time and 45 seconds, to the difference in altitude from 750'. For this launch, our score was 60: not good enough.

After finding our rocket severely underpowered, we ordered new motors and launched again—qualifying for the National competition in VA, thank God, on our final attempt with a score just over 10.
