@LihnidRootz uh what? your point is utterly lost on me. they said he went to the oracle as a p.r. stunt, not about the logistics of what's most realistic of him to ask.
Also, they're getting this from 2nd hand historical texts. I don't know how much is being falsified and neither do you unless you've actually collected every single source and know what was included or not.

@neobogard Yeah. Thais was her name. ( you know how women get blamed for everything lol )

@theprodigy1600 actually most historians agree that the burning of persepolis was caused by the hand of a woman who would latter become ptolemy's wife, and ptolemy wrote that alexander did it as a cover up for his queen of egypt.and it does make sence because alexander saw persia as his own.
and as for these phd's,i think they're only doing this program for entertainment rather then actual history wich is so f***ing wrong.

@neobogard You know, maybe some of the few people who didn't like him were the Persians for what he did to Persepolis. But then again, what about what the Persians did to Athens 150 years before that??
COMPARING ALEXANDER TO SADDAM HUSSEIN???!!!!! lmao and these people have PHD's...my boys with GED's know better

@theprodigy1600 i was just about to say the same thing, this is bullshit, alexander was probably the only conquerer who the people he conquered loved him back.

further bs.
sure he asked the Oracle at Siwa if those who are guilty for the murder of Filip (Philip II Makedon) are punished.
If i would became the most powerfull ruler and someone killed my father few years ago, i would like to know exactly that, if all who are guilty are punished.
If Olympia had to do something with that, she was also punished, couse she never saw him again.
this "phd" historians need education and psychiatrist, not Aleksander
stupid, realy stupid, what an ignorance
