  • Thank so much for not having any Narration, it is so annoying and distracting, 10 out of 5 stars for doing that alone, I HOPE OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE WALKTHROUGHS OF ADVENTURE GAMES WILL FOLLOW THIS!

  • This playthrough is far from perfect... I forgot to edit out some parts where I was gone at least 5-8 minutes at a time.

I need to redo this playthrough.

  • I don't get it, I played all the Lucasarts back in the day but none of the Sierra ones (except some Larry).

I now bought them all on steam and I should be experienced enough with the puzzles, but I just don't get what you have to type into that console when the dying scientist tells you black holes. I only see gibberish on the keyboard.

  • You can buy this off of Steam?

If you can, I'm really late on the news...

  • Thank you for this game. I love Sierra, Roger Wilco, Graphic Advens... Good old times that come back thanks to Youtube and you, friend ;)

  • And thank you for the view!

  • I played this game as a kid but only now can I appreciate how great the writing is.

  • Hey, great to have someone take the time to post this! I never got to play the first one and haven't seen it until now.

  • @katmandu2k It was part of the copyright whatchamacallit, where you had to own the original game manual in order to look up, in this instance, "Black Holes" to find the code to enter in.

  • @kabfik There was no narration for this game. No voice acting at all, if I remember correctly.

  • @katmandu2k Sure is, took me while get this also but soon I seen your response I've looked through the pdf that came with steam download and there it was, thanks lots!!

  • @13lood13ath read the manual, I think the codes are somewhere around page 22. If you got it from Steam, there is a PDF with the manual included. It's the copyprotection.

  • @katmandu2k I agree, how did you know what to press on the keypad after the scientist mentions "black holes"? It's only symbols.

  • Yes, thanks. I figured that out myself as you can see in my previous answer, but thanks anyway.

  • You can also buy simon the sorcerer on the iPhone.

  • The secret is that you have to read the manual that is offered. Print the page that has the codes on it for each game. SQ 1-VGA, 4, 5 and 6 will have things in the manual that are the answers to the puzzles. It's really old copy protection, for SQ1 the answers are on page 22/23
