On the 12th Feb 2011, LSF organized an exhibition of craft creativity "Krutishilta Balmanachi" with participants from 11 Z.P. schools in Thane district.
This event was opened with an environmental awareness drive by the children with display of charts showing how plastic, thermocol and other such material was harmful for the soil and environment. The prizes to the top three winners were given away by Shri Sanjay Sawant, noted fine artist and Sanne Bagby, a craft artist from USA who came to Learning Space a week before the event to guide children on use for waste material for making utility items.
