I witness this 10 miles south of the mudhole on a nice day while chumming. Blues started to jump then out came about an 800 pounder. One of our balloons sunk and our drag started to scream... Turned out to be a 200 lb Mako. :(

That fish was bigger than 400#. I say closer to double that, anyways...

Do you guys also use bluefish as bait? Do you use live bait or dead? On PEI we use live mackeral, and we dont have any bluefish. If you use dead ones how could i obtain some for our tuna season that starts on monday. Thanks boys!

We use both live and dead bait. Bluefish are fished off of a Kite, Mac's are trolled dead and used live under a balloon. All of the tackle shops here sell frozen Macs. Thaw them out, sew the mouth shut, and slow troll. Good luck, I hope you land a monster....if it comes as described above mail me a few steaks!
