    You read my mind. That's only a 2-seat version of an airship line that comes with 4-seats and 6-seats(bigger envelope). All three have 65 hp rotax engines and a four-bladed propeller and a ~23 mph top speed. Not enough to be used like Goodyear blimps. But if they used a simple flock insulation like Festo's balloon, that would increase their loiter time and payload. Then I would put in a 100 hp rotax and drive two fans like the Augur-12.

  • Now that's my kind of hot air balloon! I wonder if it would work better with a larger, slower propeller.
