How long has it been now? 3 years... it feels like you've been gone longer...
I still recall our times when we chatted for hours in the days of 56K and the crazy adventures we made up in our Yahoo! Chat days when it was still young, and not the craziness it is today. I still miss you, Ceri and I hope that you have been resting well amongst the heavens.
Why argue about it. Isn't it wise to be safe than sorry? My mom used to sun bathe all the time, and she developed melanoma on her back, and she has terrible scars because of it. Until you've been around someone who has suffered it, you just don't understand.
Mariakidi, You couldn't be more ignorant. There are thousands of articles, doctors, scientists, cancer hostipals and research universities that would agree. The evidence is overwhelming that the sun definitely causes melanocyte damage and unfavorable DNA mutations. Summer countries do have fairly high rates of skin cancer. Do some research before you call BS on anyone otherwise you'll end up looking stupid. Skin color, genetics, sunburn, and other factors all have a part to play.

So you think that people in summer countries should have skin cancer? oh well, its a doubt. Sun is not a reason for skin cancer but food we eat and things we inhale!bottomline the abuse in our body and also, weak cells. this is bullshit! anyways, rest in peace and we know you are in Gods hands.
