This is the video of us trapping a red tailed hawk. We used a balchatri trap with a small white rat. The hawk was on the trap before we drove 30 feet away. You must have a federal permit to do this.

Nice bird!! Is there lots of Redtails in Florida? I use to drive trucks for years and dint see that many,down there...That bird had a nice crop too..

@dadmaniac hey, im actually located in the tampa bay area and am interested in falconry i've been reading alot on it, and would like to know how hard is it to get a permit here and are there courses that the state requires for falconry?
