Testing the Sanyo FH1, recorded at 1080 60p, manual mode (ISO 50, shutter 1/500, aperture f/8-ish. Colour curves corrected in Vegas Pro, with light unsharpen mask and light sharpening applied to bring out some detail. Rendered at 720 24p as WMV

I'm playing around with camera settings and Vegas to see how crisp the video can be made to look. This isn't a professional camcorder by any means, but for the price you can't go wrong as long as you're aware of the limitations :)

  • Hello there, nice video und quality, can you tell me how do you set the shutter speed on the fh1? Because i really need to know it

  • @TweakFingers You need to set the camera to either manual (M), or shutter priority mode (S). Once you're back in record mode you can use the joystick to control the shutter. If you don't see the shutter indicator you need to go back into the menu and reselect it. It's kind of clunky to be honest, but it works.
