@silveriomonares It was part of the 1938 german movie "Es leuchten die Sterne" (The Stars Shine) soundtrack, an anti-semitic nazi propaganda movie.
It was again included in the movie "Apt Pupil" s.t., in 1998, to recreate the "epoque ambience" of german cabarets.
Liane Augustin sang on both.

To me, it's still just a nice song about Berlin.
