@maxdproduction Yes! You can record shows, download movies & podcasts while the Tivo is on or stand by mode. As long as its plugged in you can record anything.

@maxdproduction Yup thats all you need. Wifi adapter does it all. To bad you can only use Tivo's adapter.

so how do i set it up, i have cable from my wall to my tv is that all i need are do i need this card you talk about in that comment above... i dont get it :P

Okay so when you set it up, you take the cable from the wall and plug it into your Tivo. Then plug in the video/audio cables to you TV. You will be able to view all your " basic cable " (non HD & HBO)channels. About the " Cable Card " don't worry about that. Your cable guy will install that for you. When the CCard is installed then you can watch all your Digital cable channels in including HD HBO Starz and so on and so on

Yes, I'm using this with digital cable. What you will need is a Cable Card from your cable provider. Once you have the Cable Card you will be able to receive all channels in your tiered lineup including HBO Starzs HD content and so on and so on.
