  • Do the Japanese celebrate Christmas? I've seen some holiday-themed anime specials, but otherwise I'm not sure. Happy Christmas, anyway! :)

  • @FatHedgie Yes, we sure do! Although Christmas Eve is the time when most of the celebrating takes place. Families usually have roast chicken for dinner (no turkey in Japan), along with a special Christmas cake (which is also a French tradition). And on Christmas morning, young children discover the presents that Santa has delivered to them ^_^

  • @FatHedgie i think they do celebrate but not the way we do, i think it's more of couple thing

  • @TornadoXFighter That's true, too. For young couples, Christmas in Japan is a bit like Valentine's Day in the western world. But for families, Christmas is all about the kids :-)
