This is my favourite song by Canadian Jack Scott. And Robert's version is my fave cover.

The Jordanaires backed him up on this song on his record (and others). I met them when they were backing Rick "Elvis" Saucedo in the late 70s (with Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana). That was great meeting those guys.

The Way I Walk - Robert Gordon [Bethesda, Maryland] - 1978 - "One of his BEST. Was later covered by Cramps in 1979 with excellent results. Originally sung by Jack Scott that went to number 35 on 8/3/1959. 4 weeks Top 40." - Is Red Hot [import] (Bear Family)-1989. NOTE: one of the better Rockabilly Revival bands. :-)
