On the January 22 edition of CNN Headline News', host Glenn Beck apparently thinks he knows more about Economics then Harvard Economics Professor Jeffrey Frankel. Beck ignorantly claims that low income workers do not pay any taxes and then calls Frankel "Stalin" after he proposes that low income workers deserve a tax cut.

CNN Conservative Talk Show Host Glen Beck claimed that low income workers do not pay taxes and then likened Harvard Economics Professor Jeffrey Frankel a communist by calling him Stalin when Frankel explained that low income workers also deserved tax cuts. Apparently Beck thinks he knows more about Economics then a Harvard Professor that researches the subject for a living.

So lowering taxes on the poor is Stalinist "redistribution of wealth" what does that make lowering taxes on the rich? American conservatives are fine with redistribution of wealth so long as it's to the people who already have plenty!

Glen Beck doesn't know anything about economics AND he has no idea what communism is, even though he talks about it all the time. He just accuses everyone he doesn't agree with of being a communist so that he doesn't have to come up with actual arguments to defend his point.

@TimothyADonaghue Really egocentric. Poverty is a cicle. This is not about redistributing wealth to lazy people. One of the democracy's goals is to take people who work, out of poverty and this is what took us out of the medieval age where the poor were slaves...

The attempted insult just reflects badly on Beck, to be honest. To compare someone to Stalin, simply for advocating slightly-more-progressive taxation, is hysterical and ignorant.
