The Date

This is a short film that I made for my ARTS 165 final at Wellesley College. I used a Sony Handicam and Final Cut Pro 4. I was unable to use a light kit or a sound kit. This short film, titled "The Date", is about a young woman who sets up a dinner with an eye-opening twist. There is absolutely no dialogue (this was part of the assignment, and not due to the fact that I didn't have a sound kit), and is in a way a silent film. There is only a brief playing of music near the end.

I loved it .... What I interpreted was that her husband was not there to make it for their date ... ( he Died while serving our country -Soilder) she went on the date regardless of his absent but remembering him also sying her last good bye because she need to move on .!! Anywaus I could be wrong but this is my Opinion ... either way I loved it and it was great ... Thanks
