Rhythm & Cello is a live music duo from Vancouver that blends acoustic guitar, cello and vocals for an upbeat performance that keeps fans coming back for more! John Welsh and Stephanie Glegg of Los Amigos have branched out from the high-energy fanfare of their six-piece band to create a unique acoustic sound perfectly suited for pubs, cafes and special events including weddings. Original songs showcase a combination of rock, folk, reggae and latin styles to satisfy both their fan following and first-time listeners alike. The duo also performs a variety of cover tunes ranging from Bob Marley and the Beatles to the Hip and Jack Johnson, which feature cello harmonies reminiscent of Oasis, Dave Matthews and Damien Rice.
