Too Thin

the size of models has gotten and is getting way to small..what do u think? (so, this is a project for one of my classes on how society's perception of beauty is getting thinner and how this whole topic has shaped culture. what we see as beautiful is becoming women that are thinner and thinner throughout the years. it's supposed to make u think. even if u don't find it beautiful, what if we will someday? but this video is supposed to be moving even if some of them are photoshopped that is what we are becoming. i know they aren't in mags of today and what not but still. what if they will be someday?)

It's crazy to see how many comments there are on this video. I made this about 5 years ago and personally have seen models becoming skinnier...even Victoria's Secret models who were generally known for their curves.

I just hope someday healthy will be in. Clothes can look good on normal sized people too. Healthy girls can look good in pictures as well.

I didn't create this video to say that skinny girls are gross. I just want there to be an awareness that we can't let it get out of control.

I don't have a problem with skinny people, no, I have a problem with skinny people who judge others simply for carrying a little extra weight when they've no idea what true beauty is. Physical beauty fades with time, whilst inner beauty never dies. So what have you in the end if all you are about is looks?

Photoshops from worth1000. They let you submit fake photos to a class? "Move" people through propaganda? Where I am it's completely opposite. I'm skinny & can't go out to eat any meal without being surrounded in mountains of rolly polly neckless walrus people. I really wish I didn't have to see people with arm rolls and 3 sets of back boobs while I'm trying to eat at restaurants. Oh wait this was 2006, sorry things are way more fat acceptance now. fat is everywhere

@100poundradish Alright look here, some people are fat because of medical conditions. And some, jut like there weight. While at the same time, yes skinny people my be skinny for a medical condition but forcing themselves or being 90 pounds or below for the hell of it, its unhealthy and sickening. Same for obese people.

Obviously socioty enjoys thin people but there has to be a line and thats crossing it Maybe people should stup using the term thin and start using athletic or maybe slender... I am a plus size woman and yes i would like to weigh less but if this is what sociaty like id rather stay the way i am today !!
