I always remember taking Malcolm to a west end hotel when i was doing a bit of cabbing, great thrill for me as a Palace supporter as well. this was in the seventies. He gave me a tip which was more than the fare. Great character R.I.P. Mate.

Bon Voyage Mal, from a City fan of the '60's, to whom you were an iconic image, still looming large over Maine Road (& perhaps Eastlands). It was a great journey, now sail away, with the image of Colin Bell cutting in from the inside against the Spurs, laying off to Lee, whose shot is saved, but the rebound falls to Summerbee who slots it home, 2-0 to City,..... just as you showed them!
