Oh, and also...Don't listen to people who say "Fursuiters are all immature kids dressed up as animals" because a lot of fursuiters are actually adults getting in touch with their inner-child. From what I learnt in Psychology, we fursuiters release our repressed inner-child safely...where as some people release it through violent behaviour.
Unfortunatly there are "Furry haters" in the world that force out a stereotype of the Fursuiters that makes the community look bad. But it's actually a very friendly community, and you can learn a lot about making items for even normal costumes from a fursuiter.
It's a form of escaping reality that's fun, and doesn't involve alcohol or drugs...and doesn't physically harm anyone around you or yourself.
Plus, the process of making the costume is actually painstakingly long, and people put a lot of time and money into making them. Some of the suits look fantastic (like these ones) whereas others just don't. (like mine)
Did I mention it makes people smile (usually) when they see someone in an animal costume? It makes people feel good. :3

Fair enough. I just hope to not see this taken to some extreme level.
