This video is about a dual language immersion program in Cambridge, Mass., where my daughter and niece studied for a year. The school, Amigos School, taught kids in Spanish and English, alternating weeks or days for each language. My girls were non-Spanish speakers at the time, but they adapted really well. When we returned, we hoped to continue their Spanish immersion at Leesylvania Elementary School, but that year, Leesylvania discontinued their program because, they said, there was not enough interest. Here, I'm talking to Clarissa Cordova, a kindergarten teacher whose mother helped found the program.
Nice video about the dual immersion program. Thank you=)
