Air Trax- A Pneumatically powered model tank. The project, titled "Potential Energy Powered Toy", was assigned in the Manufacturing Processes course at UMBC. The energy for the propulsion of the Air Trax is stored as compressed air in the cylindrical container. Compressed air drives the two piston engine located in the back of the tank. The pistons and the switch valves originated from a Lego Technics set. Operating pressure of the vehicle is between 30 and 50 psi. The pressure vessel has been tested up to 250 psi.
