Black actors would take any role, even roles that are perpetuating negative black stereotypes about their own race because they want the MONEY! Blacks would do anything for MONEY... including making black people LOOK BAD!

  • This is why I hate Jil Jon and Nicki Minaj, they purposly encourage the idea that blacks are dumb animals just because it makes them money.

  • Black people will never stop bashing each other! Why is it that White Actors can play complex and gritty characters but when Black Actors do they are bashed? Precious highlighted a serious global issue which is child abuse/incest/rape. The acting in that movie was outstanding. Black comedy actors who act silly are called menstrals but White comedians who act just as silly (Jim Carey) aren't told they are bringing down the race. A lot of Blacks said the Cosby show was fake! They can't win!

  • @hopover1 yea hes from philly!

  • you are so hilarious! I love your onscreen persona! So refreshing and your voice is cool too - i can't place the accent - east coast maybe?

  • @jon8342 Actually, the largest beneficiaries of AA are white women. I'll bet they didn't tell you that.

  • Don't blame the actors - 99.9% never become known to most - so if stereotypes gets them in, they'd be stupid not to, I would myself if I happen to fit some other stereotype.

The only way it could change is for more to do it - and the talented ones then select their roles, like Sidney Poitier, Sam Jackson, Halle Berry, etc.

  • "WHY NOT?"

  • @SutoikkuSenkai DOUBLE TALKING???

  • @NORIEGA200 Oh, okay....than why did you respond by double talking? :p

  • @SutoikkuSenkai I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE CHARACTER IN THE BOOK, (WHICH I HAVE READ). SO WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SAME THING.
