  • Wow, "HQ", they're not kidding. This is the best looking VOD I've seen on youtube.

  • Also muta with queen would be a good one too. Ensnare basically forces marines to use steam pack, and some fake moves will drain medic's energy. Also, when you have 11 mutas(cause that's how you control them) 5~6 shots on a command center, Queen can quickly infest it. I guess it takes a lot of gas to make queens, but utilizing magic units became the key to victory in many cases.

  • Using Queen was very impressive, and I think this build could be perfected if usage of defilers were added and getting rid of too many Ultralisks. Dark Swarm + Ensnare will be very devastating for marines.. and all you lose would be cheap zerglings. Then you can Infest a command center with few zerglings and a queen when Terran forces are engaged. Terran then has to break the command center and rebuild it.

  • Also, on Andromeda with cross positions going straight to hive tech is quite standard....not a desperate move.

  • Flash was maxed at this point...the reason you add more production facilities when you are maxed is because your resources WILL start to pile up and you need to spend them even faster when you do lose troops. This is normal practice and all it means is that Flash could replenish his army faster.

    The reason Flash won slowly is because he decided to play safe...he knew if he could take the game late his better multitask and macro would win.

  • wasn't hyvaa sick and tired of losing his 8 o'clock expansion so many times to one dropship? I really thought he'd wise up the first time it got wiped out and place 2 scourges to intercept any new dropship attempts... On a side note the queen during mid game is interesting and could have been devestating with a proper surround, but that didn't happen. A bit too conditional if you catch my draft

  • The contrary:

    Build a good 2 bases macro, deny his third and timing attacks. One before muta pop, one before hive tech is complete.

    Then, shut down his expos as much as you can, and keep killing his gas units with vessels.
