This is part 1 of the 2 hour DVD that was played at Allen Shellenberger's memorial. Al-isode #1 covers the early years from 1989 to 1996, dealing with the forming of the band Razzle and playing on the Sunset Strip.
Allen's interview footage was filmed in September 2000 while on tour in Nashville.
Look for Al-isode #2, "Tripping The Light Fantastic" next Monday, September 28th.
these guys played my bar before they got big. O-Town Tavern. Ogden, UT. They WERE good until they got big. Their album "tripping the lights fantastic" was great. Kind of a Social Distortion feel of them,

Oh my gosh. I was at so many of those shows. Wow. So great to hear those songs again and to see Razzle. Thank you, Al, for taking me back. I only wish you were still here. :(

I forgot to mention... if you guys can find a way to release this DVD, I'm sure hundreds of fans would be willing to buy it. As a last way of saying "thank you" to Allen. I don't think it will happen but I would be first in line to buy it.

Wow, that's a pretty fantastic video. Some amazing performances back in those days! Love how they played Fireman and Dozer. Never got to hear those songs live, so this is refreshing. Tripping The Lights is arguably my favorite album, it really rocks.
Allen was the master of drums. It never gets boring watching him go at it. Looking forward to the next video!
