Learn how you can use your own buttons to add, remove and save data into your database without having to use the default menu bar thingy.

  • @raizoripper In the description there's a link to download a project that has that functionality.

    The controls i'm using that makes it look nice is the Krypton control toolkit

  • @networking26 Dude i downloaded the Krypton thing and how do you know wich one is the cool blue star thingy one?

  • @Numberman45 Drag controls on to the form.

    There's also a Krypton Manager in your toolbox, drag that on to the tray (the thingy below the form)

  • ive got to do this for a school project just as your doing but i am not allowed to use database access i have to use structures and arrays can i still do this the same way as your doing now?

  • Great video and can I ask here if others have trouble using "UpdateAll"? I did what you said re: copying code from the save icon and putting it into a save button but I get an error about the tableadapter.

  • @iProRyan click on the combo box, then go over to properties and look for where it says "DropDownStyle". Then, click on the drop down arrow and select "DropDown" or "DropDownList". I usually use DropDownList

  • i have everything except for the table adapter manager... can you help me with this somehow??
