It is purposefully made sideways because gordos always move sideways. also this makes the flip make it spin with its spikes going clockwise, and the paunch hit with its spikes.
The first one I had up was messed up:( the diagonal spikes are supposed to be the longer ones. now it's fixed and looks more like it. yay!

i hate gordo in the platform kirby games but i love using him on destruction derby in air ride and dedede's throw in ssbb it's the enemy that everyone hates
