In a republic your government supports individual rights, in a democracy the government supports the majority rights. The medicinal marijuana issue and discriminatory laws threaten your rights and your freedoms. You have to draw the line somewhere. Why not in distinguishing between "soft" and "hard" drugs. Generate triune to aid in rehabilitation not prosecution. Duh? And I mean that in the nicest way.

How's this for reality: I know chronic pain sufferers who trade their oxycontin scripts for cannabis ... the med that works best for them and allows them to be functional. So, isn't it the drug companies that are really driving the black market? Opiates come from poppies, poppies fund the jihad terrorists, and the CIA makes sure it all hits our streets and pharmacies. Do yourself a favor. Dump your meds and smoke pot.
